This simple, effective paper art can stand on it's own as a decoration or can be used as a meaningful literacy tool.
I love that you can read it like a book, creating a story or poem. Then you can do it again, starting from a different image each time, and see what different tales you create!
This free template is a colouring sheet with each of the 5 pictures shown, plus a blank shape so you can add your own character to the mix.
Once you've had a practice with these, try creating your own symmetrical shape and get creative with how you can fit different characters and scenes into it!
